Visit statistics, without cookies
On the public pages of the website we count visits with Burst Statistics, which runs on our own server: the data does not go to another company. We save nothing in your browser and do not recognise you from one day to the next. To count a visit only once a day, an anonymous code is worked out from your IP address and browser, with a key that changes every day; the IP address is not kept. We see which pages are read, where visitors come from (for example Google, Instagram or the campaign in the link), the type of device, the system and the browser, and how many times the Elite, Light, App Store and Google Play buttons are pressed. If your browser sends “Do Not Track”, the visit is not counted. In your account (the client area) and in the AlmarFit app the statistics do not run. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing how the website is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Statistics cookies (only with consent)
We use statistics and marketing only on the public pages of the website. They are never loaded in your account (the client area) or in the AlmarFit app, even if you have given your consent.
| Name | What it does | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_… | Google Analytics: shows us, in anonymised form, how many people visit the website and which pages they read | 2 years |
Marketing cookies (only with consent)
| Name | What it does | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| _fbp | Meta Pixel: measures how well ads on Facebook and Instagram work | 3 months |
Data the AlmarFit app saves on your phone
Besides cookies, the app saves some information directly on your phone, so it works fast and without internet:
- Journal changes made without internet, until the phone can send them.
- The meal you are building in the calculator, so you do not lose it if you close the page.
- A copy of your account pages, so the app starts quickly and you can read your plan without signal. The copy is deleted when you log out.
- Your approximate location for the sky and the weather, if you allow it, rounded to about 11 km. Only the rounded coordinates are sent, for the weather (details in the Privacy policy).
- Your permission for notifications, if you switch them on. You can turn them off at any time from the app or the phone settings.
Apart from the rounded coordinates for the weather, this data is not sent to anyone else and is needed for the app to work.
Data the website saves in your browser
For the sky on the home page, your browser keeps locally, with no expiry date, af_sky_wx (the last weather found, used for 30 minutes) and, only if you let the website find your location (the browser asks you only when you tap the sunrise and sunset times), af_sky_geo (the location, rounded to about 1 km). They are not cookies; you can delete them at any time in your browser settings, under the website’s data.
How to control cookies
- From Cookie settings, at the bottom of the website, you can change your choice at any time.
- From your browser settings you can delete or block cookies. If you block necessary cookies, you will not be able to log in to the app.
Details about how we process data are in the Privacy policy.
